Trav­el­ing in our vine­yard util­i­ty vehi­cle, you will enjoy vary­ing van­tage points of our estate site, even­tu­al­ly cir­cling back to our state-of-the-art win­ery. Here you will engage with our wine­mak­ing team pri­or to vis­it­ing the bar­rel room for your seat­ed, pri­vate tast­ing fea­tur­ing Crown Point wines indi­vid­u­al­ly paired with cheese from a local cheesemonger.

Farming with Microbes

In April 2020, Crown Point Vineyards brewed its first batch of compost tea. In short, compost tea is an organic product that enhances the soil’s microorganisms to promote soil health, improve root systems, and provide a catalyst for efficient uptake of the soil elements by the root. Over the long term, the brewed tea cleans the soil, promotes soil health, reinforces plant architecture, improves yields, and ultimately enhances the quality of the grapes.
